Mount Washington
Yes, it’s true! Mount Washington is opening this Saturday. The word from the Mount Washington folks is that all nordic trails, except for Lake Trail, will be groomed and ready this weekend. The forecast is for rain on Wednesday, but there already seems to be a terrific snow base — and more snow in the forecast for later in the week. It’s going to be a good year for skiing!

Devo
We had a fine ski into Paradise Meadows on Sunday. Some very deep snow to climb around in and some great wipeouts! Wednesday we will be in the gym in Courtenay for our workout 4:00-5:20pm. Saturday and Sunday we will start our ski practices on the tracks with the mountain open. We will ski 10am-12 . Please be there a few minutes early so we can get organized and get out promptly. Make sure you have your ski pass all ready to go. As always please have both sets of equipment with you and we will do whichever technique will be best that day – based on snow and weather conditions. Tentatively we will plan to do Classic both days this weekend.
