Season’s Passes – alert!
If you are purchasing a season’s pass this year–don’t delay! Sunday, September 30 is the last day for earlybird prices on Mount Washington season’s passes. Remember, you need a Mount Washington nordic season’s pass or nordic trail pass to ski on the trails this winter.
You can buy a season’s pass, or a special 10-week SNSC program pass (buy it in early January), or a day trail pass (every time you go skiing). Follow these links:

Program Registration
SNSC winter program registration opens on Monday, October 1 online. Starting on Monday, there will be a link to registration on the club website, StrathconaNordics.com. Visit the Programs page to learn more about winter programs.
Saturday programs begin on Saturday, January 12. Sunday programs start up on Sunday, January 13. Programs run for 10 weekends. Racing programs are currently running dryland training sessions. If you are interested in racing programs, contact us. info@StrathconaNordics.com

Swap & AGM
Mark Saturday, October 27 on your calendar! It’s the annual SNSC Swap and AGM–a great opportunity to find some gear and catch up on club news. This year we are swapping and meeting at Mark Isfeld School in Courtenay. Here’s the schedule:

- Equipment drop off, 9-11:30am
- Waxing clinic, 11-11:30
- Join us for lunch, 11:30-12:15
- AGM, 12:15-1pm
- Nordic gear swap, 1-3:30
- Unsold gear pick up, 3:30-4:30pm
Don’t miss the Wax-o-rama! You can bring your classic and skate skis to the Junior Race team, and they will prep them for the new ski season. You can enjoy a treat from the Devo Bake Sale table while you wait!
Note: Everyone is welcome! People attending the AGM get in first to the ski swap. All gear must be in reasonably good condition.

Teck Regional Fall Dryland Camp
Last weekend, 31 racers enjoyed the cross-country ski race camp held in the Comox Valley and sponsored by Teck Resources Ltd. Coaches Dave and Andrea led the participants through two days of roller ski drills, strength and balance exercises, and games. The camp ended with a gruelling race up the Strathcona Parkway. Congratulations to all participants and to the uphill race prize winners:
14 km: 1st – Jamie Wasteneys, 2nd – Sheridan Meckert, 3rd – Alec Stapff
10km Boys: 1st – Connor McGrady, 2nd – Ross Lamon, 3rd – Mark Grant
10km Girls: 1st – Ariel Becherer, 2nd – Avalon Wasteneys, 3rd – Morgan Meckert
5km Devos: Annelise Henckel, Taz Oldaker
