All-Coaches Meeting

Racing Team Parent’s Meeting
The parents of children and youth on racing teams should attend a Parent’s Meeting on Sunday, October 21 at Queneesh Elementary in Courtenay. This meeting gets underway at 10:30. See you there!
The annual AGM & Swap, a good opportunity to catch up on news and buy & sell gear.
Ski Swap & AGM
Don’t miss the annual SNSC Ski Swap and AGM on Saturday, October 27. It’s a great opportunity to trade in some of your cross-country ski gear, to find some “new” gear for the coming season, and to learn about club developments. Here’s the schedule:
Mark Isfeld Secondary School
1551 Lerwick Rd, Courtenay
- Equipment drop off, 9-11:30am
- Waxing clinic, 11-11:30
- Join us for lunch, 11:30-12:15
- AGM, 12:15-1pm
- Nordic gear swap, 1-3:30
- Unsold gear pick up, 3:30-4:30pm
Don’t miss the Wax-o-rama! You can bring your classic and skate skis to the Junior Race team, and they will prep them for the new ski season. You can enjoy a treat from the Devo Bake Sale table while you wait!
Note: Everyone is welcome! People attending the AGM get in first to the ski swap. All gear must be in reasonably good condition.

Coaching Clinics
If you would like to begin coaching this year or continue your progression in the national coaching program, here is the list of coaching clinics:
- November 2-4 – Learn to Train (L2T) Clinic (dryland)
- November 16-17 – Introduction to Community Coaching (ICC) Clinic
- December 7-9 – Community Coaching (CC) Clinic
- January 4-6 – Learn to Train (L2T) Clinic (on snow)

If you are looking for some stylish and very functional cross-country ski clothing–we are selling off last year’s LG jerseys and tights. For just $15-$30 a piece, you can pick up a jersey or tights for skiing this winter! There will be new and used jerseys and tights for sale. There are also Strathcona Nordics jackets for sale for $60!
Attention Rabbit families, there are many child and youth sizes! This is great opportunity to pick up some very nice and practical layers for skiing.
The items will be on sale at the Ski Swap at Mark Isfeld School all day! All proceeds go to the racing suit program.
Attentions racers, the new HH racing suits are coming later this fall, and the new HH suits must be worn for racing.
