SNSC membership has benefits. On a practical level, membership means you are insured when you participate in SNSC winter programs, but membership also means that you can take part in SNSC socials and events all year round. If you have ever attended an SNSC event, you know that you are always in good company! Additionally, membership means you get 10% off purchases at Ski Tak Hut in Courtenay and Raven Retail at Mount Washington Nordic.

This winter, members can participate for free in back-country ski trips led by experienced back-country leader Andrew Pape-Salmon. Details for 2012 are coming soon to the Recreation page! Remember, when you register for our programs or membership, you still need a Mount Washington Nordic Season’s Pass or trail pass to use the trails! Note: You only have until September 30 for Mount Washington’s earlybird fees for season trail passes! Our program registration will open on October 1 on Zone 4.ca.

This fall, we will enjoy a variety of all-club run/hikes. Many SNSC members join in the running group and the hiking group to explore trails by foot, enjoy the camaraderie of fellow nordic skiers, and get fit for the ski season. Remember, if you want to participate in any of our programs or events, you need to be a member. Membership is valid until October 31 of the following year.
