Cheer on the Canadian Olympic Skiers on Saturday, February 20

On Saturday, Feb. 20, join the Strathcona Nordic Ski Club in the Raven Lodge to cheer on the Canadian Cross-Country Team in the Men’s Olympic 30km Pursuit Race. Watch on a big screen TV, enjoy some food & bevy specials offered by Raven’s, mingle with members and of course… cheer on our athletes! Watch for times and more info as we get closer. The race is scheduled to begin at 1:30pm.

Every Wednesday in Victoria
Looking to get some extra exercise mid-week before your weekend of nordic skiing? Come for a brisk walk (or jog) around Elk and Beaver Lake in Victoria and meet other Victoria-based SNSC members! Every Wednesday at 9:15. Everyone welcome, including dogs. Meet in the lower Beaver Lake parking lot.

Looking For

Island coordinators to help coordinate social events around the island throughout the year.  Please contact me if you are interested and are from the Duncan, Nanaimo, Courtenay/Comox, or Campbell River areas.  We are looking for help in each of these locations.
