SNSC News — August 18, 2015

We hope everyone is finding time to get outdoors and enjoy this lovely August weather. You can find news from your ski club below!

On August 9, we had 14 club members on the Mt Curran run/hike. By all reports, it was an excellent hike in good weather. "We actually got to the top just before the clouds started to roll in, so it was a pretty good view!" Missing from the photo are S. Denny and C.Bowlby. photo: C.Bowlby

Planning

If you are making plans for the fall and winter, here a few things you may want to consider:

Coaching in the school program and/or 10-week club program. Coaching is a great way to stay active and improve your own skills as you give to the ski community!

Note: The coaching workshops for this season are scheduled as follows: ICC workshop on January 2-3; CC workshop on January 8-10; and T2T workshop on January 8-10 all in the Mount Washington Nordic Area. For more information about the courses, see the coaching webpages.

Joining the Board of DirectorsIf you have a few hours to spare each month, we can help you find a board position that suits you! The club BOD is actually quite fun and another great way to use or broaden your skills & resume and help the ski community at the same time.

We’ll be updating the website in late August – early September, and the updated event calendar is coming soon!
