SNSC News — September 19, 2016

Many racers enjoyed last year's May Camp.

Greetings Strathcona Nordics Ski Club Members!

After a long summer communications silence, the newsletter is making a come back! We’ve been remiss in keeping you informed due to a vacancy in the communications department, but we are figuring this out so please bear with us!

There is a lot to tell you and get you excited about our coming season ( as well as the current dryland and past summer season) and we’ll begin doing this through several updates over the next few weeks.

For starters, we have now confirmed our program line up and will offer some new flexibility in session options and fees for several of our youth programs. We will also focus on a new late starter program for youth who missed out on Jackrabbits but still want to join the fun and learn to ski. We will be updating the website with the new information over the next ten days in time for the opening of 2016/17 membership and program registration on October 1.

In the meantime here are a few upcoming dates to keep in mind:
* SNSC Membership Registration for 2016/17 opens October 1
* Mount Washington Season Pass Early Bird rates end October 10
* SNSC Club AGM and Ski Swap – November 5th
* SNSC Program Early Bird Rates end November 30
* SNSC Jack Rabbit Program registration ends December 31
* SNSC Bunny Rabbit & Jack Rabbit, Adventure Program, and Masters Programs begin Jan 7/8

In the next update we’ll provide details about upcoming schedule for fall and winter coaching courses and the value of club membership.

Like every year we are looking for individuals and parents enthusiastic about skiing to help out in a variety of coaching, officiating, communications, and general volunteer roles (including your board of directors). There are many ways to contribute to the club!

Get in touch through and stay tuned!
